NiAbutin-C Progression
Ascorbyl Glucoside begins neutralising oxidative stress and free radical damage at the cellular level. As turnover increases, initial purging is normal and indicates the formula is accelerating congestion to the surface.
Alpha Arbutin begins blocking tyrosinase activity and pigment transfer. Niacinamide regulates sebum production simultaneously, reducing oiliness and the surface dullness associated with excess oil oxidation.
Visible fading of dark spots and post-inflammatory marks. The stabilised Vitamin C complex brightens mid-layer cells as they rise to the surface, producing a measurable improvement in overall radiance.
Full cellular cycle complete. Skin tone is unified, texture is refined, and the three-pathway brightening action is fully established for long-term pigmentation control.
The Philosophy
NiAbutin-C is a high-performance multi-pathway brightening serum engineered to disrupt the skin's pigment process at every cellular stage. Unlike standard brightening treatments that target a single step, NiAbutin-C works across three distinct biological pathways simultaneously — making it the most comprehensive brightening formula in the Qunat protocol:
Alpha Arbutin is a highly stable tyrosinase inhibitor that blocks the enzyme responsible for converting tyrosine into melanin. By occupying the tyrosinase active site, it prevents melanin synthesis at the production stage — correcting existing dark spots while preventing new ones from forming.
Niacinamide — the active form of Vitamin B3 — works at the transfer stage by inhibiting the movement of melanosomes from melanocytes to surrounding keratinocytes. Even if melanin is produced, it cannot be transferred to the skin cells that carry it to the surface. Niacinamide also stimulates ceramide synthesis to reinforce the barrier simultaneously.
Ascorbyl Glucoside is a highly stable Vitamin C derivative that converts to active L-Ascorbic Acid at the cellular level via enzymatic activity. It neutralises free radicals that trigger the oxidative stress cascade leading to pigmentation, provides antioxidant protection, and brightens existing hyperpigmentation — all without the oxidation instability or irritation of standard Vitamin C.
Layering Guide
NiAbutin-C is a serum applied after TraneXaMilk and before HydraPep. Its water-based consistency means it must go on before any emulsion or occlusive layer.
Used once a week as your first step on that day only. Apply to dry skin, massage to exfoliate, then rinse before moving to the BHA Gel Cleanser.
Daily first cleanse. Dissolves SPF, makeup, and environmental pollutants without stripping the acid mantle.
Daily second cleanse. Salicylic Acid decongests the pore lining while Panthenol maintains barrier integrity throughout.
First active step. Blocks the plasminogen-plasmin melanin signalling pathway before pigment production begins. Allow 60 seconds to absorb before NiAbutin-C.
Apply 3 to 4 drops to cleansed skin after TraneXaMilk. Press gently until fully absorbed. Allow 60 seconds before the next step. For PM use only.
Multi-weight Hyaluronic Acid and Matrixyl 3000 plump the barrier and lock all actives in place before the emulsion layer is applied.
Applied after serums as an emulsion. Micronized Azelaic Acid penetrates the follicular lining to correct PIH and PIE while its lipid base seals the serums underneath.
Final step. Ceramide NP and Squalane create an occlusive seal that locks in all actives and prevents transepidermal water loss overnight.
Always apply SPF the following morning when treating any form of hyperpigmentation.
Key Ingredients
A stable Vitamin C derivative that converts to active L-Ascorbic Acid at the cellular level. Neutralises free radicals, brightens existing pigmentation, and delivers antioxidant protection without oxidation instability.
A precision tyrosinase inhibitor that blocks melanin production at the enzyme level. More stable and less irritating than kojic acid or hydroquinone with comparable brightening efficacy.
Blocks the transfer of melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes, preventing melanin from reaching the skin surface. Also stimulates ceramide synthesis for barrier reinforcement.
Supporting brighteners that inhibit tyrosinase activity via glabridin and oxyresveratrol respectively, adding additional pigment suppression to the triple-pathway formula.
Full Ingredients:Aqua, Glycerin, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Alpha Arbutin, Niacinamide, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract, Morus Alba Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Allantoin, Phenoxyethanol, and Ethylhexylglycerin, L-Arginine q.s. to pH 5.2.
How to Use
- Apply 3 to 4 drops to cleansed skin after TraneXaMilk has fully absorbed.
- Press gently into the skin using upward motions until the serum fully absorbs. Do not rub.
- Focus application on areas with active hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, or post-acne marks.
- Allow 60 seconds before layering HydraPep on top. For PM use only.
- Always apply SPF the following morning. Vitamin C derivatives increase the skin's sensitivity to UV damage, making morning SPF non-negotiable when using this formula.

ULTIMATE BRIGHTENING DUO:
TRANEXAMILK + NIABUTIN-C
TraneXaMilk is engineered to be used specifically in sequence with Niabutin-C to calm inflammatory redness and interrupt the pigment-making process for maximum clarity.
Inflammatory signal suppression (TraneXaMilk) followed by multi-pathway pigment inhibition (Niabutin-C) disrupts the cycle of discolouration to effectively fade dark spots and restore a uniform skin tone.
