AzelaiK 12% Progression
Initial calming of redness. Because AzelaiK accelerates skin renewal, purging is normal and expected as trapped debris is fast-forwarded to the surface.
The 12% concentration begins inhibiting tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for dark spots. Active acne flattens and skin sensitivity starts to decline.
Noticeable fading of post-acne marks (PIH) and redness. Skin tone appears more uniform as cellular turnover replaces dull cells with clear, healthy tissue.
Total skin stabilization. Texture is smooth, pores appear refined, and the barrier is strengthened against future inflammatory triggers.
The Philosophy
AzelaiK 12% targets Post-Inflammatory Erythema, hyperpigmentation, and active acne simultaneously using a micro-emulsion delivery system that drives Azelaic Acid into the skin rather than leaving it on the surface.
Micronized Azelaic Acid at 12% inhibits tyrosinase to correct PIH and melasma at the production stage, clears Cutibacterium acnes, and reduces the inflammatory free fatty acids driving PIE — all in one application.
Betaine at 3% maintains cellular hydration and reduces surface sensitivity, making the 12% concentration tolerable for reactive skin. Green Tea Extract provides antioxidant polyphenols to neutralise the free radical activity driving post-inflammatory pigmentation.
Olivem 1000 is a biomimetic emulsifier structurally resembling the skin's own lamellar lipids. It integrates with the stratum corneum, improving active delivery depth and keeping the Azelaic Acid evenly suspended rather than settling.
Layering Guide
AzelaiK 12% is an emulsion applied after all water-based serums and before DermaSeal.
Apply to dry skin, massage, rinse. Cleared pores allow deeper AzelaiK penetration on GlycoGommage days.
Daily first cleanse. Removes lipid-based debris so the BHA cleanser can reach the pore lining.
Daily second cleanse. Salicylic Acid decongests the pore lining, creating the pathway AzelaiK 12% needs to penetrate.
Blocks the plasminogen-plasmin melanin signalling pathway driving PIE and melasma. Allow 60 seconds to absorb.
Triple-pathway brightening serum. Adds tyrosinase inhibition via Alpha Arbutin to complement AzelaiK applied later. Allow 60 seconds.
Apply before AzelaiK 12%. Water-based serums must go on before the lipid emulsion or they cannot reach the skin surface.
Apply a pea-sized amount and press gently into the skin. Do not rub. Allow 60 seconds before DermaSeal.
Final step. Ceramide NP and Squalane seal AzelaiK 12% and all underlying actives in place and prevent transepidermal water loss.
A pea-sized amount is sufficient. Always apply SPF the following morning.
Key Ingredients
Inhibits tyrosinase to correct PIH and melasma, clears Cutibacterium acnes, and reduces the inflammatory free fatty acids that drive PIE.
Maintains cellular hydration under active ingredient stress, reducing the sensitivity and tingling that standard Azelaic Acid formulas produce at this concentration.
A biomimetic emulsifier structurally similar to the skin's lamellar lipids. Improves active delivery depth and prevents the Azelaic Acid from settling.
Camellia Sinensis neutralises free radical activity driving post-inflammatory pigmentation. Panthenol reduces sub-clinical inflammation and accelerates barrier recovery.
Full Ingredients: Distilled Water, Azelaic Acid, Caprylic Capric Triglycerides, Olivem 1000 (Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate), Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Propanediol, Betaine, Green Tea Extract (Camellia Sinensis), Panthenol, Cetyl Alcohol, Sepimax Zen, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Optiphen Plus, Disodium EDTA, L-Arginine q.s. to pH 5.0.
How to Use
- Apply after all water-based serums (TraneXaMilk, NiAbutin-C, HydraPep) have fully absorbed. Never apply before water-based serums.
- Dispense a pea-sized amount onto the fingertips. More does not increase efficacy and may cause pilling under DermaSeal.
- Press gently into the skin using upward motions rather than rubbing. Pressing allows micro-emulsion penetration at the correct depth.
- Focus on areas of active congestion, PIH, PIE, and redness. A lighter layer is sufficient for areas without active concerns.
- Allow 60 seconds before applying DermaSeal. If new to AzelaiK 12%, apply every other night for the first two weeks before moving to nightly use.
- Apply SPF the following morning. The pigmentation you are treating will worsen with unprotected UV exposure.

TraneXaMilk is engineered to be used specifically in sequence with AzelaiK 12% to reduce both Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation and Post Inflammatory Erythmea marks due to acne scarring.
Tranexamic acid (TraneXaMilk) interrupts the inflammatory signals that trigger redness and pigmentation, while Azelaic Acid regulates overall pigment production to effectively clear both red and dark post-breakout marks.
